On October 15th, I am going to run the Budapest Marathon in aid of Renewable World.

Renewable World is a registered international development charity that aims to tackle the issue of energy poverty and water scarcity. They adopt a unique implementation approach, with a strong evidence based focus to fully understand the needs of the community and to implement a sustainable solution.  Through the provision of energy, Renewable Word hope to, among other things, improve access to education, provision of health care and increase the economic resilience of the household and community.

I believe that this nature of approach will stimulate progress in a multitude of aspects of development and is fundamental for a bright and healthy future. For further information on the work of this charity follow the link below, take a minute to watch the video or follow my blog.

THE RENEWABLE PLAYLIST

Pick your favourite song, if you’re a runner, the one that pushes you through the last km of your run, or if not, an all-time classic or favourite. If it makes you smile that’s twice as good. Through donating (as much as you like) on the BT Giving page, you are provided with an opportunity to write a message.  This is where you can enter your song request and if you wish a message too.

Gradually I will compile the ultimate playlist to motivate me through the streets of Budapest on October 16th. The best bit is that I have provided a link to my Spotify account below which enables you to follow the playlist to enjoy on your runs too! If you don’t subscribe to Spotify then I will post the entire playlist in my final blog.

This really is a renewable playlist that everyone can enjoy.
